One of beginner guitar chords that we should learn is Am chord/A minor chord. To play this chord is not as hard as F chord or the B minor chord. No finger pressing two or more strings simultaneously. So the chord is relatively easy to play.



How to Play Am chord/A minor chord



The first string is in a position of open strings. For the second string on the fret number one, place your first finger. And then place your second finger on the fourth string on the fret number two. And finally, put your third finger on the third string on the fret number two. For the fifth and sixth string are open strings. That's the Am chord/A minor chord, one of beginner guitar chords.


How to check Am chord/A minor chord


To check whether the chord is already in the correct position and can produce clear sound. You can perform the same way as in G major chord. But it might be better if I explain it again here. Ring the strings one by one from the fifth string to bottom. We listen to, whether the sound of each string is nice and clear. If not, check the position of the fingers of our left. There might be the fingers touching the other strings that should not be touched. If all the strings are sounded with a clear, ringing all the strings, unless the sixth, in one hit in the regular tempo. Do this over and over again. This will give you progress.
